Kick off AFW 2016 with a night of indulgence featuring the 2016 Austin Fashion Week Mash Up Teams. Celebrate the stunning images submitted for the Mash Up competition and see the models come to life through pedestal presentations.

Join Austin Fashion Week at a stylish Brunch to help celebrate the iconic Driskill Hotel’s 130th birthday. Eat and drink lavishly as the Driskill pulls out all the stops. Enjoy 130 years of fashion through a special runway show presented by world class Texas-based vintage boutiques.

Join AFW at Soirees hosted by boutiques, retailers, salons, spas, and gallery spaces. Party hop across Austin as you experience trunk shows, mini runway events, designer showcases and more. Most events are free and open to the public.

Wow.  This year’s Austin Fashion Week runway collections were beyond impressive.  I was pretty blown away.  Keep your eye on these designers over the next few years.  I think many of them are destined for big things.

Austin Fashion Week Designer Recap

Some say that every end is a new beginning.  Looking back on this year’s Austin Fashion Week, made me realize how incredible the designs were!  I think it is safe to say that for many of this year’s Austin Fashion Week designers, the end of fashion week marks the beginning of a burgeoning career.

Let me give you a quick tour of the amazing designers this year, with some of my favorite pieces.

Runways Night One Favorites:

  • Agunk – Fuchsia Maxi Skirt & Black Sheer With Pink Back Upper
  • LaLa – Blue Maxi Skirt
  • Crowned Bird – Pink Skirt with Crop Blouse & Polka Dot Tan Skirt Suit
  • Mysterious by NPN – ALL of his gorgeous, dramatic dresses & gowns.  Keep your eye on this designer!  Two of of my favs: Black and Gold Cocktail Dress & White Rhinestone Evening Gown
