My favorite pair of boots, had seen better days. After 5 years of serious dedication, it was time to send them to their final resting place (aka Goodwill). I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to find a replacement….after all, they were the perfect boots. So just like that, my search began. And continued for three years. Why is it so hard to find quality, cut, and style in a boot? I mean, we aren’t talking about diamonds here!

So there I was, on the search under the warm spotlights of the shoe department, in the flagship Nordstroms. Suddenly, there they were. <insert angelic music> THE perfect boots. The luxurious chestnut leather caught my eyes first. Then, the gold glimmer of the embellishments had me hypnotized. And, the cut – so impeccable, I’m pretty sure I did a little happy dance. I was in heaven. Finally, perfection in a boot!!
