Austin Fashion Week: Awards

They say that all great things must come to an end…and so must Austin Fashion Week.  The Austin Fashion Awards always go out with a bang.   It is one last night to enjoy fabulous designs and celebrate those that significantly contribute to the fashion community.

I wore a Jessica Faith Marshall Navy Finale Gown, (pictured here with designer Jessica Faith Marshall), Chanel Round CC Earrings, Chanel Coin Motif Gold Cuff, Taylor- Moseley Tiny Gem Stacker Necklace, and Nine West Dark Tortura Patent Pumps.

There are 3 categories of awards – Trailblazers, Rising Stars, and Mash Up Teams.  The oh-so coveted Golden Boots were awarded to the following recipients:

**I have to give the biggest shout out to the BEST fashion photographer in Austin: Gregg Cestaro!  He consistently wins the Mash Up Team Competition Awards, year after year…much deserved!**

Sprinkled between golden boot awards were the mind-blowing final fashion shows.  From Boudoir Queen’s incredible vintage designs, Gain Chovan’s stunning black & white pieces, Kendra Scott’s imaginative jewelery creations, and Stephen Moser’s theatrical interpretation of a pagan wedding….I’ve never seen anything like it!  Enjoy the video!!
