Fashion says “me too.” Style says “only me.” Got a girly pink skirt? A basic pair of skinny jeans? A plain LBD? Don’t be afraid to throw something unexpected into your ensembles. Juxtaposition – girly & goth, preppy & boho, chic & punk – is what makes an outfit. Why not add some skulls?
Although Halloween is right around the corner, you don’t have to limit your skull attire/ accessories to October (despite popular belief). Skulls have been a fun addition to many designer’s collections over the past few seasons. If an Alexander McQueen skull scarf or a sparkly skull clutch is too much for you, try something a little more subdued – like this Lavender Skull Blouse.
4 little words: high waist, circle skirt. If you don’t own one…get with the program! They pair perfectly with a blouse or tee for a put-together daytime look. By night, convert your look with a cute crop top. If it is cold, a sweater can be super chic too. A belt cinched at the waist, while not necessary, can really pull the look together.
Skirts and skulls – step out of your normal fashion boundaries this fall and try experimenting with something unexpected with an outfit. I promise you’ll have fun!
