Aloha and Howdy y’all! After a fabulous trip to Hawaii, I’m now officially back in Texas. It was an amazing trip and I have lots of tropical photos to share with you all (coming soon!). The journey was a blast, but I love being back home.
Along the way during my travels, there were…hiccups: flights cancellations, rescheduling, baggage transfer issues, repeated delays, etc. It’s important to remain flexible and adaptable during these ‘bumps in the road‘. Instead of getting stressed and frazzled, keep calm during obstacles. You WILL eventually make it to where you want to be. Smile and make the best of it. Or ‘travel light’, as I like to say.
As incredibly beautiful as Maui is, I love Austin. February is the month of the initial blooms of Bluebonnets, known as a harbinger of spring and the official state flower of Texas. The weather starts to warm and we start transitioning our wardrobes for spring.
My recent favorite wardrobe addition is this pair of leather leggings. When there is still a chill in the air, I like to pair them with closed-toe boots, and a comfy blouse + vest. As the weather becomes warmer, I swap the winter wear for open-toed booties or strappy heels, with an airy blouse or a tee. Plus, add a Texas choker. Because…don’t mess with Texas y’all!
