In Style

In the South, transitioning into fall is an art. Temperatures typically stay “summer-like” through November. Mother Nature basically forces us to wear our warm-weather clothing, longer than expected.

There is nothing wrong with donning your summer wardrobe into autumn; however, there are graceful ways to make the transition.

Rompers have always been one of my favorite go-to outfits (simple, one and done). To ease the progression into fall, opt for a romper with sleeves. You’ll look more autumn-esque, but you’ll keep cool in the heat.

This ModCloth romper is one of the best. It works for practically any occasion: a party, brunch, dinner, running errands, shopping, etc. As fall progresses and temperatures start to cool, just add a moto jacket + ankle boots.

While you may not be able to wear full-out fall fashion yet, you can take baby steps. I promise it’s coming. In the meantime, go enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte…iced!

Your smile is contagious! It’s nice to see a blogger actually showcase their smile. Because really, smizing is overrated. 😉 And yes, transitioning into Fall is an art. I always make sure to have a jacket or scarf handy. One never knows!
