In Style

Ever had one of those freak out moments where you feel like you have nothing to wear? But, you are staring at a closet full of clothes? Ugh!

Usually it goes something like this: you haven’t blowdried your hair, you are only halfway done with your makeup, and you have no idea what you are wearing. But, you HAVE to leave in 15 minutes. So, you scramble through your closet to find an outfit. It looks terrible. Nope. As your phone is blowing up with texts, you grab the same old outfit…again. Whomp whomp.

Here are 4 steps to avoid this dilemma, forever:

  1. A few days in advance, take 20 minutes (yes, that means step away from Facebook), to create and style at least two outfits. Be sure to include shoes, bags, accessories, etc.
  2. Take a photo of each outfit and check for any ironing/ steaming that may be needed.
  3. On the day of your outing, reference your photos and choose the outfit that best fits your mood.
  4. Go have fun!

For example, I created several different looks with this fringe skirt. But today, the weather was gorgeous and I was feeling springy = I choose a bright red top & peep toe wedge. We are experiencing a very mild winter and this look easily transitions into spring. Did I mention that this skirt is less than $25!

The moral of the story is, plan ahead. Never have one of those annoying wardrobe moments ever again.
