I have a confession to make: I have a jacket obsession. And something tells me that I’m not the only one. I mean…there are entire closets dedicated to coats. Coat check please!
It’s easily justifiable to have a great selection of jackets and coats when you factor in the low Cost-Per-Wear they hold. Not only do they make amazing layering pieces, but they are practically necessary year round – cooler evenings, movie nights, overly air-conditioned restaurants, etc.
A stylish jacket is great way to add interest and/ or color to your look. For this outfit, the burgundy BB Dakota jacket is the perfect third piece addition. It has a cool casual vibe and can be worn open or closed for more cover up. I’m so glad that I grabbed this jacket on my way to the CBS live taping* because I ended up wearing it in the studio, while I was being interviewed. I love the versatility of this style so much that I also bought the same version in white.
Invest in a few great jackets and always be excited to grab them out of that coat closet as you walk out the door.
