Black To The Classics

21 Dec
I’ve always been one of those girls that had entirely too much black in her closet. I have made a serious conscious effort to purchase items that add color to my wardrobe. If for anything, to keep my closet from looking like an abyss, even with the light on. But, I always seem to revert back to black. How to fix this conundrum?
The answer (if you can read this from the blackness of your closet), is that you can always add color with your accessories, for example a colored scarf or purse. A bright, silk scarf pops on an already cute, dark outfit – taking it from cute to, wow, in no time. Get creative with accessorizing. Try wrapping a classic silk scarf around your handbag, neck, head or waist (click here for these and other scarf styling inspirations & instructions). You’ll love it…and so will everyone else!
Tis the Season for wonderfully colored accessories. You’re going to need a bigger stocking!
OUTFIT: Kate Spade handbag, H&M silk scarf (similar here), Forever 21 Ponte Dress, Express croc belt (similar here), Betsey Johnson Booties, Express Opaque tights, Carole spiked bracelet, gold bangle (similar here), and Michael Kors watch.
