In Style

As summer approaches, I’d like to go ahead and address something that many of us are apprehensive about — plunging necklines.  Don’t be afraid to experiment with some of the high-fashion, plunging tops and dresses.  Let’s talk about how you can do it right!

There are so many great, on trend, plunging dresses & tops.  One of the main keys to mastering the look, is to make sure that the dress that you choose is not too short (and your heels aren’t too high).  It should be a tasteful length.  Remember: you ARE showing more up top.  The top/dress should also fit your body properly, which may require a tailor (note: an awesome tailor can make or break any outfit).  As an alternative, you can always choose a cut with a shorter plunge, like THIS style.  Another way to bring the plunge factor down, is to pair it with a blazer or jacket.  They can help to sharpen the look and create a bit of sophistication.

Long story short….you can take the plunge, if you do it right!
